Let me just say first that plateaus suck! Last week I worked my butt off to bust my plateau and ended up losing 1.4 lbs that week. This week I worked half as hard and lost 2.4 lbs. The only changes I made during my plateau week was exercise related. I had to split workouts into 2 a days in order to boost my metabolism. I stuck to the same diet of 100 calories per hour during both weeks. This week I went back to 1 workout a day. This is the nature of losing weight. Keep Reading

This week was a struggle for me. Despite the fact that I was doing everything right, my body was intent on doing it’s own thing. The week started with my Saturday weigh in of 164.6 lbs. On Sunday I had a 45 min walk. On Monday I did a 45 min walk in the morning and 45 min rowing in the evening. With sticking to my diet and all this exercise you would think I would be moving in the right direction. Nope! Tuesday morning I weighed in at 166.2. Keep Reading

This week I have still been plugging away at my weight loss goal. It has only been 3 weeks since I delivered my baby so I haven’t been able to be too aggressive. This week I lost a total of 2.2 lbs. I am very happy with  this number. I have been consistent in my diet of 100 calories per awake hour and I have been pretty consistent in exercise this week too. I played tennis 2 days for 1 hour each and walked for 45 min on 3 days.   Below are this weeks stats. Keep Reading

To give you a little insight into my world.I have always been into the health. My weight was never an issue. I am 5’6″ and always weighed in around 128-140 lbs. I was always active hiking, climbing, yoga, body building etc… always on the move. I am a mother of 4. I birthed my youngest at 40 years of age. Shortly after I started having health issues concerning Blood loss and Iron deficiencies. I went from doctor to doctor who just wrote my health concerns off by saying “all women of age” have these kinds of issues.I was always exhausted, suffered severe dizziness,and became extremely weak. Following a week where I lost 10.3 lbs; it may seem that 3.9 lbs is a little lackluster. This is not the case at all! Losing weight is no easy feat. After a big loss week, I would expect to see a much smaller number. For someone who is (now only 166.8 lbs) this is a good number Keep Reading

There is no doubt that 10.3 lbs in 10 days is a pretty fast and aggressive weigh loss amount for someone who is 181 lbs. This is especially true since I am not taking any supplements. However, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Keep Reading
