Create Health Goals For The New Year

by Gabriella Patel on December 28, 2016

If you’ve set health goals for the New Year, chances are you’ve included things like eating better and making sure that you work out on a regular basis. Of course, if you’re like most people, it’s easy to have good intentions, but without a plan in place, it can be hard to stick with your goals.

A great way to start the New Year is with a realistic assessment and plan for how you will achieve your health goals. You might want to consider exercise videos, a new pair of running shoes or some other type of workout gear. Make sure your plan includes plenty of variety as it can be hard to do the same thing day after day.

Of course, eating healthy is also important, so you should make some clear decisions regarding your diet. If you want to lose weight, you’re going to have to pay attention to calories as well as quantity; however, even if your goal isn’t weight loss, you still want to be sure that you’re making healthy choices. Add more fruits and vegetables to your diet and concentrate on lean proteins as well as low fat dairy products.
