Congratulations to Autumn! She is the winner of the January Hot Topics Contest. I think many people are confused about what to do when they are coming off of their successful weight loss programs. This question helps people realize that they have to wean back slowly. Don’t be afraid; be in control!

Hello 🙂
I actually plan on starting the 30 Day Diet tomorrow and it will end on my birthday (hoping to get excellent results as a birthday present for me, haha).
Anyways, I was curious if both cardio and strength building exercises are suitable for this diet supplement or if I need to limit the amount with both. I’ve received mixed answers from reading things found online, so I’m a bit confused.
My ideal lost is 40 lbs and I’m thinking the 1200 calorie choice would be ideal for me due to my metabolism being so slowed due to inactivity for 3 years & my body being in “Starvation mode” from 400-700 calories consumed a day (I never have much of an appetite to begin with and when I did eat, I made poor choices.)

Not sure what information I should add to help with a possible answer, so if there is anything else you would need to help me with my inquiry about the exercise, I’ll respond quickly. So excited to get started 😀

My first line of attack for someone who has 40 lbs of weight to lose is to follow a cardio based program. If you do resistance training is should be low in weight and with very little rest in between exercises. If you lift heavy it can sabotage weight loss due to cellular changes required to build new muscle mass. I would recommend 5-6 days of 45-60 min of low intensity cardio per week. I would wait until you plateau or reach your goal to start adding heavier weights. Once you add heavier weights I would use this to solidify your results making it harder to gain all your weight back. This is because heavy weight training will increase your metabolism.

With that being said…..if you have not been exercising at all for quite some time, you can receive some results from any program (ass long as you are at 1200 calories). You will just receive the most results from a cardio based program for weight loss.

Can you take any other supplements while on the hcg1234 drops? I had been taking Raspberry Ketones and pre-work out energy formulas before the drops.

Also, what types of exercise is ok while on the drops for the different calorie plans?

The hCG drops are great by themselves. However, you could add our eAC, Raspberry Ketone, Green Coffee Bean, African Mango and Diet Revive if you like. I wouldn’t add more than 3 total supplements at a time because if they get to high they can be just passed through your system or combat each other.

As far as exercise, I would recommend very light exercise for the low calorie 500-800 calorie plans. The 1200 calorie plan could handle more and higher intensity exercise.

I think that people really have to take a look at why they want to succeed. And if they ACTUALLY do want to succeed. Sometimes people are scared (without knowing) to change their appearance. Their appearance is part of their identity and they are used to living life in that identity. They can sabotage themselves. I am here to tell you that changing your appearance will not change who you are inside.

In order to stay motivated and have a high drive to succeed you need to accept nothing less than achieving your goal. You deserve the success and the answers are out there. You should never give up on yourself.

I have lost 38lbs but can’t seem to loose that last 5 lbs to make my goal weight that I set a long time ago, what would you suggest to try?

There is a lot of varying information about fruit – great for diet not so great. I have so many friends that are drinking these elaborate fruit smoothies to lose weight. Is there any validity to this?

I love fruit and use it everyday when I am in a weight loss program. The point behind the smoothies is that they take up alot of space in your belly making you feel full and they are loaded with vitamins. Sometime people do not lose as much weight as they could due to vitamin and mineral deficiencies. This helps with that. Also, some smoothies may add supplements that aide in boosting metabolism and fat loss.

I’ve just had some pretty pleasing success with the hCG 1234 and hCGEnergy. In the last month I’ve lost 16 of the 35 lbs I have put on over the last 6 years and I couldn’t be much happier. It’s very clear to me that this is a great couple of products and they’ve helped me achieve something I’ve been struggling with off and on for years now.
However, I now have to take 3 weeks off before returning to the product and diet.
During the 3 week break is it ok to try to lose more with one of your other products?
I’ve really appreciated not having to deal with cravings and am worried that these will return during the break. I’m continuing to take hCG Energy – is this ok? Should I or should I not use diet Revive or another of your systems?
Thanks for making a great product that doesn’t break the bank!

It’s not good to try and lose weight on Phase 3 – Stabilization….this is a time for you to “stabilize” your new weight for better success in keeping it off. If you lose another couple of pounds without trying that’s okay. If you are concerned about giving in to cravings you can take the eAC to help with willpower.

Phase 3 is a time to learn what your body gains weight with and what is fine….you still need to avoid starches and sugars, eat ONLY minimal healthy fats and keep the calories around 1200-1500.

Thank you for that info, it makes a lot of sense.
Since I am avoiding sugar, how much fruit is ok?
Still 2 pieces a day? I’ve read to eat limited amounts of banana…any idea about what that might add up to?

In the stabilization phase you are suppose to eat 6 balanced meals per day. “Balanced” meals = at least 1 choice from the Protein, Veggie & Fruit categories, avoiding Starch & Sugars…you can substitute a Dairy choice for the protein in a meal or have it as a snack. So this means you could eat up to 6 fruits per day. The only caveat is that you need to choose low sugar fruits. This include:

Rhubarb, Strawberries, Cranberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, Grapefruit, Melons, Apricots, Plums, Peaches, Pears, Guava, Cherries, Apples, and Papaya.

Bananas are high in sugar and should be avoided right now.

In order to receive results you HAVE to create a stimulus. If you are doing or eating the same things, your body has adapted. With my clients, I tentatively plan 6 week programs. This means for 6 weeks we are in “lean down”, the next 6 weeks we are in “athletic performance”, the next 6 weeks we are in “stabilize”. Then start over. Each phase has its own diet and exercise plan. This example is for someone who wants to lose weight. Different goals would elicit a different plan. Also, if we reach the 6 week mark of lean down and they are doing awesome, I would extend. I would never stop momentum.

OK…This is pretty cool:) I would love to know what are the best herb/food combinations for weight loss. Ones that dont taste sick (maple syrup and chayanne:) And even good skin combos.For example, oatmeat with blueberries (lower cholesterol and anti-oxidents) Simple example but stuff like that:)

A very well known combination in Calcium and Vitamin D. These two vitamin’s absorption is improved when they are paired together. You can get these in cheese omelets and rice/broccoli combinations.

Another good one is Iron and Vitamin C. Iron is responsible for the oxygen carrying capacity in blood and Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant. Pairing these together can equate to improved energy levels. One great combination is a steak fajita. The red meat is high in iron, the chili peppers are high in Vitamin C. Also, the chili peppers have a thermogenic effect stimulating the metabolism.

One combination that I know to avoid is Calcium and Iron. These minerals like each other too much and bind in the body. This makes it hard for the body to absorb. For example, having cheese on your roast beef sandwich decreases the nutritional value of the sandwich. (Too bad it doesn’t decrease the caloric value).

When doing a Detox/Cleanse, is coffee allowed? If so, how much? If not, what about teas?

It depends on what type of cleanse you are doing….the lemonade “master” cleanse is just the lemonade and nothing else….but some cleanses do allow for coffee. Our cleansing products don’t really have any guidelines about what to eat so I always suggest eating “light” and eliminating many of your normal foods.

People should avoid coffee on the cleanse unless they want to possibly risk “bathroom issues”… tends to “stimulate” the bowels normally and on a cleanse might cause problems that lead to dehydration. Plus, most people put cream, sugar, etc., in their coffee so it doesn’t allow for the best cleanse. They can try but should use caution.

It’s best to stick with tea….and not with sugar, honey, milk, cream etc…..just plain.
