Set Goals For Weight Loss Success

by Jackie on January 13, 2017

When you’re trying to lose weight, sometimes it’s the small things that can make the biggest difference in your eventual success. For example, setting goals can be a powerful tool, especially if you know how to keep them.
It’s important to keep in mind that you don’t have to set huge goals to finally lose those excess pounds. Simple measures, such as deciding to substitute water for the soda you typically have with your lunch and dinner, can make a huge impact on your weight loss efforts.

This small change isn’t a huge obstacle and could easily help you lose a pound each week. While that might not seem like a big deal, habits like this add up. Eliminating just 500 calories per day can mean a 52 pound weight loss in a year. That’s not too shabby, considering you’re setting small goals that are more easily attainable.

When you set small goals and learn how to keep them, you establish lifelong healthy habits that will help you lose weight and keep the weight off year after year.

I'm a fitness nut. I know what you're thinking, one of these people who has never been fat a day in her life, and can eat whatever she wants. The truth is I struggled with my weight growing up and lived in a household where everything seemed to be fried. Once I got away from home I realized I had the choice to eat and exercise how I wanted. I've gained a lot of insight into working as a personal trainer, and feel I can relate to others that were in my situation. I think if I can do it then you can to, and if you want to start kicking butt then hop on board and lets get started.
